Our mission is to inspire, engage and empower young women into engineering and related fields of study to develop an equitable STEM pipeline from schools to universities and work places. It is the core of our purpose and we believe by inspiring these young minds we will reduce the gender disparity present in STEM in the near future.
Robogals Canberra is a student run non-profit organisation responsible for empowering the next generation of engineers. In particular we show young women the opportunities available to them in STEM fields and hope to close the gender gap to ultimately achieve gender equity.
Inspire, engage and empower young women into STEM.
Robogals Canberra (formerly Robogals ANU) inspires, engages and supports the next generation of future engineers in schools, universities and industry.
Come along to get trained! Training days are a great way for volunteers to learn more about what happens in a workshop and how to lead a workshop. Training days are held multiple times throughout each semester.
Leadership events exist to inspire and empower future leaders in STEM! Come along this International Women’s Day (8th March) to enjoy high tea and hear from some incredible women in STEM!
Professional development workshops are another way we give back to our volunteers and our community! Come along to develop key skills when applying for a job, going for a job interview etc etc!
To widen our impact, we visit schools, libraries and communities in rural Victoria and New South Wales. As a not-for-profit organisation, we ensure that there are no costs for our participants. More information regarding this year’s rural trip to Wangaratta will be coming shortly!
We value an inclusive and friendly culture. As part of our way of helping to facilitate an inclusive and friendly culture, we organise a variety of social events alongside other STEM organisations!
The Robogals Science Challenge is an Australia-wide online STEM competition for girls aged 5-15. It aims to promote innovation and exploration through hands-on projects and challenges, which can be completed with a friend, parent, or mentor.
